Baby moving at thirteen weeks?

This is my third pregnancy, so I am very familiar with what it feels like when the baby moves, but I thought it was impossible to feel it so early. I am only thirteen weeks and twice now, I swear I felt the butterfly movement of my baby.  I have also felt my uterus tightening, braxton hicks??  Could all of this be happening so early?  Anyone else experience this so early?

I first felt movement at 14 weeks (second pregnancy), whereas I wasn't sure that I what I was feeling was the baby until I was just over 20 weeks.

Yeah, I've only had the tightening of my uterus like two or three times, once while laying flat on my back, and twice while i was doing activity, house cleaning/exercising. My husband wants to rush me to the e.r. or make me stop exercising, that's why I was asking if it was normal. Oh, and its not painful at all...

It is possible to have braxton hicks right at the end of the first trimester/beginning of the second if you've had numerous pregnancy and/or have an irritiable uterus.  This time around I was getting braxton hicks around 13-14 weeks.  Not often but I did have them.  They also say braxton hicks don't hurt, but there are numerous women here who will attest to that being false.  I went to the doc several weeks ago because I was having contractions before I even got out of bed one morning and they were enough to make me wince....but once I was hooked up to the machines, they only registered as braxton hicks and my cervix was closed so.

I'm on my 8th pregnancy (5th to make it out of the first trimester) and with this one and my last one I was able to feel an occasional flutter at 12 weeks.
