Baby shower cake

It's your preference. I'm doing cupcakes because I don't want people talking over a whole cake

I love little kids but it bugs me when they don't behave at someone else's house. I just think it's like disrespectful to the person's house

Yeah that's what I mean. Like the little kids besides the ones who are like 7 years old because they're old enough to know what not to do and stuff but the little kids love running around and touching everything. I don't mind little kids at baby showers but the parents have to watch them so they don't mess up anything or break stuff. I remember one time one my birthday I had gifts and the little kids were being noisy looking through everything and opening it and the parents didn't do anything and it got me so upset because I was the one literally babysitting them because I don't want them messing up anything. I couldn't even sit down for a minute without me seeing them run inside slamming the doors and grabbing anything and dropping it and opening my gifts and putting their fingers inside my cake with dirty fingers because they played in the dirt and touching the dogs...

No little kids besides babies in infant carriers is a good policy.  Young girls in the 7 years plus range are fun at showers.  

But if you do say no kids, you'll have some that then will not come because they don't want to get a sitter or can't.  

so, it's a toss up for what is best for you to do with that.  good luck

Do you ladies have little kids at your baby showers?
When I have mine I'm thinking about no kids allowed because there always running around and I'm afraid they'll bump into me and grab all the stuff..You know?

I think a sheet cake sounds good to do but yet cupcakes are easier to hand out lol...

I had a sheet cake that had blue frosting to look like water and rubber duckies all over it and white frosting to look like bubbles I think a sheet cake is nice too (:

I like sheet cake because you can eat it with a plastic fork and cupcakes drop too many crumbs.  Very awkward to eat.  I'm a cake girl.

Both of my showers will be Sunday brunches so I'm going with cupcakes :)

I did cupcakes, i did 3 different flavors (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry shortcake) my mom decorate each flavor with a different animal. They were cute and easy
