Babys Heartbeat!

I had an ultrasound at 5w 6days to confirm how far I was, and we didn't get to see a heartbeat yet. How many other mum's were not able to hear a heartbeat at this stage, and is it normal? I go for another ultrasound just before I am 8 weeks. I've had 2 lots of bloods taken and my HCG levels were 226 then 3776.

I saw my babies heartbeat at 5w6d but the ultrasound tech didnt expect to see it. She said at that time most people dont.

The babu's heartbeat is usually seen around 8 weeks so don't worry. Everything will be fine.

I didnt see/hear a heartbeat till i was 11 weeks. I am now 19w6d with a baby girl. Just had my level 2 US and she is healthy as can be. So dont worry! Good luck with your pregnancy! :)
