Bacterial Vaginosis????

Im 5 weeks and I suspect I have BV, It's extremely itchy around the opening and doesn't smell too pleasant...the discharge is watery white sometimes thickish grayish white. I don't have insurance so only options are emergency room, I won't be able to pay for the prescription until I get paid next Friday, will I be okay until then? I'm really worried..

Miss west is correct about the soap. Also could be a yeast infection and not bv most common with yeast is itchy and whitish discharge can sometimes have an odor as well. So could be either. Either way you need to get ins hun and get treated asap. And you'll prly wanna go to urgent care for that not er :-)

I've had bv multiple times and I've had it with this pregnacy as well as my first you will be perfectly okay to wait until you get paid.. I would definitely wait to treat it until you have them confirm thats what it is.. only causes concern when left untreated for long periods of time:) for now I'd try to use unscented soaps and only wash with water... seems off since bv causes a smell but I was told and have found that soap can cause your ph levels to go wacky and that can cause bv... I haven't had any issues for months and I had it at one point recurrent. .. definitely try just using water to wash that area as its self cleaning anyways

Apply for medicaid. If you are eligible, you should have coverage that day.
