Being induced, need advice !
I am scheduled to go in tonight at 8 PM. They are going to give me a pill to help thin my cervix, it's like the primrose oil and than give me a sleeping pill to relax my body. I am only 1cm dilated and 80% thinned, so my body isn't really ready but my due date was December 1st, so I am already over and very uncomfortable. Than Thursday morning my doctor is going to come check me & hopefully go on with the regular induction. I am just scared it could end in a c section sense I am not fully dilated or anything. Has this happen to any one ? Any advice ?
My sister in law was induced due to high bp she wasn't dilated at all. She ended up having a cesearean after becoming fully dilated and pushing for an hour and a half. Her son wouldn't drop and was sunny side up. However she was 37w +2d. I think since you are further past your due date you will more than likely be successful. Her boy just didn't want to come BC it was too early
