Bio oil!

So I bought some bio oil bc my tiny stretch marks are starting to grow, I showed it to my OB and she said I can not use it bc it has Retin A in it! Has anyone else been told this? I'm sad bc I want to start to fight these marks asap!!!

Listen to your doctor and remember stretch marks are genetic, you can not prevent them, you can only help them heel better by keeping yourself and your skin hydrated. And, for me anyway, I earned that s***. So I am proud of my body and the beautiful little human it is making. Good luck, cocoa butter and olive oil are two of the most universally excepted hydrating skin cures.

Retin A is an ingredient in an acne medicine I used to use. My doctor told me to stop using it during pregnancy because it really dries up skin and the hormones of pregnancy already dry your skin up. What you need is moisturization. That acne medicine tore my skin up lol but everyone is different and I dont see why or if your doctor knew what they were saying. Hmmm interesting..

I heard through the grapevine that it's not safe, but never researched it myself.
