The shot made me lose a bunch of hair. I mean it was coming out in clumps:( started doing weird stuff for my sister too. My body rejected the iud so I had to get it taken out. I just stuck with the pill because I could remember to take it at the same time every day reguardless if what works best for you remember, no birth control is %100 effective. I got pregnant with my son on 5 years of religious birth control. And my friends mom got pregnant with an iud. Birth control and protected sex is always your best bet!
I had the shot and I bled for 6 months straight . lost weight and was very unhappy . so now I'm thinking about doing the one in the arm . hopefully they have a five year plan
I meant I do the pills lol sorry
I also had Mirena. I did still have a period with it, but it was light and short. Had it for 2 and a half years and then got it removed late last May. I was pregnant within a month. Never had any problems with it.
The shot was terrible for me I got it one time and it was for 3 months at a time and I gained 70 pounds and was a hormonal bi***
I had paraguard, the other IUD and it was awful. A year and a half of non stop side effects, heavy bleeding, constant infections, very painful cramps all the time, and much more. It was really bad. I'll never get another IUD because of it.
I liked Nuva ring butif u r prone to infections this birth control is not the best. I liked it cause it was convenient...I could skip my period and free under Obama
Loved the arm birth control.....untill it came time to take the thing out lots of digging around in your arm huge bruise but on the bright side the effects of the medicine go away quickly I was pregnant in less than 2 months
Well I personally do the shot but three of my cousins have the one in their arm that last three years and they all swear by it and love it. My friend had mirena until recently because she wants a baby now but it worked really well for her and she liked it a lot. I've had the shot and had a lot of problems with it and I've had a lot of friends who have also had problems with the shot so I wouldn't recommend that
I will be getting the Mirena IUD because I'm one of those people who forgets to drink their meds sometimes and I also don't want another baby until five years from now. I don't want the depo shot because after a couple of years you can get it anymore because it hurts your bones.
I had the iud and it was great
The one in the arm is what im hopeing to get, my sister got the merana and it moved on her and she had to get it taken out...
I'm getting the one that goes in the arm. It last 3 years
I got mirena and I love it. Effective immediately. I spotted for a few weeks but after that I haven't had my period at all.
That's what I'm going to get. My doctor told me it's one of the safest Iuds.
I'm going to get the shot.
