Woah sorry for the super late post & maybe long story as well. I lost my mucus plug Feb.18th and right after I started experiencing light contractions as the days progressed they got stronger & stronger. Finally Feb.21st around 1am they were close enough that i went to the hospital. There they monitored me till around 6am till they officially moved me to another room. At this point I was already about 5cm dilated, now my birth plan was to go natural but around 12pm the pain became to instense to the point I honestly did cry. At this point I decided to get the epidural, finally once I got it I was able to rest but sadly the epidural stopped working and I felt everything again. Now I was 9cm dilated but something was wrong my baby boy was already in the process of going down but started giving up to the point his heart dropped 3xs. The Dr. recommend trying to go 2 more hrs like this or c-section if things didn't progress but it would by then be too late for pain medication. Selfishly I wanted to go natural with the intense pain I was experiencing but considering his heart rhythm dropped 3xs as petrified as I was I decided to go for a c-section. Honestly I have never felt so much pain I would not wish it upon anyone. But you know what it is true what people say once you see your baby you forget about all that pain you went through. I ended up having a healthy baby boy @ 5:54pm weighting at 8pounds 4oz. This is my miracle & first full term baby for me ladies I was pregnant before & was expecting twins a baby boy & baby girl but I went into labor at 23wks and lost both babies, but I was blessed 5months later with another pregnancy. This pregnancy was not easy I got progesterone injections from 8wks up to 37wks every week and had up 3-4appointments every week. I literally spent my whole pregnancy in the clinic but like I said seeing my babys face made ALL TOTALLY WORTH IT!! I Love my baby boy Matthew Levi♡ :')
