Has any 2+ time moms received birth control before your 6 week check up? When I had my first son 7 years ago I was given the depo shot in the hospital. When I had my second last year I didn't even think to ask my doctor for birth control before 6 weeks and me and my bf started having sex after about 2 weeks then at my 6 week check up I couldn't get BC because they said my bp was too high I ended up pregnant again when my son was 5 months. Now I'm 36w and my son will be 14 months onthe 13th and I've been scared thinking about wat if we're unable to hold off for 6 weeks again and I end up pregnant before my 6 weeks are up. I'm planning on asking my doctor would I be able to get BC in the hospital to avoid this problem at my next appointment Thursday but was just wondering how common it was to get BC earlier then the 6 weeks. Sorry for long post.
I need to know too cuz I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and my second child is only 6 months so they will be 11 months apart
BTW I'm 23 and this is my third and my family is pressuring me into having my tubes tied but I just don't want to do something so permanent and still so young
