Bloody show & contractions

Pretty sure I'm in the early stages of labor! I'm 40+2 and been having contractions for about three hrs now (8min apart). Went to the bathroom and pretty sure having 'bloody show'. I've heard of so many people losing their mucus pluf weeks before labor.. but is it a good sign? Should I be excited or what haha

For you, yes. This far into pregnancy odds are your body waited to start it all at once. Its very likely in a matter of hours you will be on your way to the hospital. If you would like to hurry things along a little, a good paced 30min walk (close to home or a matter of minutes from your car or ride) may help things along. Good luck momma :)
