Coincidence. It's nothing more than an old wives tale. Nothing but birth and amnio/genetic testing is 100%, though ultrasound is right most of the time as well. It is fun to try and see if it's right though. It does have a 50/50 chance after all.

Haha I love old wives tales. I tried that one 3 times and got boy 2 times and girl 1 time. I have 2 girls.

get a sterling silver or gold ring and hold it over your belly if it goes round and round in a circle its a girl if it goes back and forward its a boy

I'm with alaysha, I tried all of the games and old wives tales to guess what I was having. My ultrasound told me that I was having a girl, but everyone that I came in contact with told me that I was having another boy because of the way my stomach was shaped. I had a 4d ultrasound and my baby is all woman LOL

You can't. All those old wives tales are just for fun. Only thing That will tell you for sure is an ultrasound.
