I have heard that it does, but lets see bump bump!
I breastfed my first and it didn't hurt when he was teething now he did bite me a couple times after he had teeth and when I jumped he would laugh I guess he thought it was funny
I breastfed until my son was 18 months old, and the teeth were never an issue. I don't even remember being bitten (by teeth), but was always ready to pop my little finger in his mouth and break the latch if he tried it. (The gums are almost as hard as teeth, so any bites came earlier, from his hard little gum plates. I can remember one of two of those in the early stages when my nipples were so tender that being chomped was like having someone clash cymbals right next to my head.) By the time a kid gets teeth, he or she is pretty used to doing the appropriate mouth shape for nursing, and that it does not include biting or the treats go away.
I bfed my lil girl until she was 16 months when I found out I was preggo again, it never hurt while she was teething, and only got bit once.
