CD33 - - - and I got a negative. Need advice, please

OK ladies.  I was on the pill for almost 10 years.  AF showed up on Sep 21, and I quit taking the pill.  Now it is CD33, so I took a test, and it was negative.  Has anyone had a really long cycle after going off the pill?  And has anyone ever gotten a negative (okay two negatives - I did it twice) but later ended up with a BFP?  Im confused....What is my body doing??  Yesterday I felt kinda crampy, but today I'm back to normal other than some BT.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I believe your body is just adjusting.  And who knows. . . You've been on the pill for 10 years, maybe now your cycles are just longer.

I remember thinking I was pregnant my first cycle off the pill (I wish!).  I was basing myself being late on the fact that I MUST have a 28-30 day cycle.  Well, it turns out my cycle is 36 days long.  No biggie. . . I've had tests done to confirm I ovulate and that the egg quality is good.  It's just long.  Good luck to you!

As you know, I haven't gotten a BFP yet, but I was on Depo for about 5 years, and then the pill for about 4 years (ortho lo).  I went off everything in January 08.  My first month was a normal 28 day cycle.  The next month was 31, and then back to 28 again.  I then had a 32 day cyle.  After that though, I've had a 15 day cycle (Weird!), a 36 day cycle, 2 33 day cyles, and then a 32 day cycle.  So, based on the past several months for me, I'm assuming it can take a while for your cycle to regulate itself (at least I hope its from BC that my cycle is so loopy!)

I don't have any experience with the pill, but I was on depo for a little bit and it took months for my cycle to get back to normal! But I don't think the pill is that potent! It ***** seeing BFN and not knowing whats going on with your body! I would wait another week or so to see if AF shows up! If it doesn't, take another test. And if that one is a BFN too, that means its time to see a doc for a blood test! Hopefully you get a BFP before it comes to that! : ) Let me know what happens***
