bleeding and blood clots

I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and I went to use the restroom and started bleeding as of I were on my cycle amd started passing blood clots;  I immediately proceeded to the hospital where they just told me it looks like u have blood in ur urine and we seen a blood clot but we don't know why your passing blood, they recommended that I so not have sex which I had not done and they jus sent me home. What should i do now?

Thanks I appreciate the advice and its been on going for 2 days and my insurance fell threw so I can't see my doctor until it cuts back on I called and talked to him n he told me to ho to another er til I can come in and see him.

Oh and has the bleeding gotten lighter since?

Well good to know there was a heartbeat. I would make. An appointment with my ob n tell them what's going on. The er doctors never seem to know what's going on. Plus it will ease ur mind some. Best of luck I think baby will be ok

Oh wow...n no I hace no cramping I feel fine they did an ultrasound and listened to the heartbeat they took my blood and left it on the counter never tested it they kept me for 5 hrs n then let me go they kind of seemed unsure of what they were doing.

When I was pregnant with my first I bled blood clots. Its was scary. Also because I had a miscarriage 6 months before getting pregnant with him. I went to the hospital and they called it a threatened miscarriage and sent me to a high risk clinic. Everything was fine. I believe it was earlier in my pregnancy like 6-8 weeks. Are u cramping with it? Did they do an ultrasound? I was convinced I was pregnant with twins n lost one. My son is now 6 and healthy. And what makes it crazy when my son was smaller he would ask me about his sister that died. Never had any living children before him. Wishing u the best.
