I'm on CD 25 - 4 days until AF and I got a BFN again!  Weird thing happened to me last night though that had gotten my hopes way up and then crushed them this morning.

Every since my husband and I started trying 3 months ago, I have been a POAS addict!  I have done tests as early as 5 days post O and then kept them around just for the hell of it.  I know you aren't supposed to check them after 10 minutes, but I had seen some after a week still in the bin and still with nothing but the control line.  I have only used 1 brand, the dollarstore Procare brand.  Thing is, this month we had felt like we had gotten really lucky for some reason, but the BFN's just kept coming.  The other day, I looked at a day old test and saw a BFP line!  I tried another test and got a BFN =x  I know that it isn't supposed to be valid after the time limit, but all the other ones were BFN's no matter how long after and this one got a BFP!?  Could we still have a chance?

I heard here that it isn't valid after 10 minutes (due to the line that can get evaporated and give you a false positive)

Who knows? The only way to truely know for sure is to go see a doctor and have a blood test :) Good luck!
