I'm having a cercelge put in Friday I'm so scared an worried,has everyone had this procedure done before?

I had my first one put in. They put me to sleep so I didn't feel anything,afterwards either but little tender the first day that's it. But my doctor has me on bed rest tell I'm 35 week.  But mine was an emergency one and was having contractions still have a few each day but it's been about 4 weeks now ! I'm also getting the progesterone shots weekly . I very high risk with all my pregnancies.  But anyways don't be worried anything that will help your baby stay in and be big and health it's worth it! My cervix is better then before it started shortening! That made me feel much better!

I just had a cerclage put in on August 30 no pain or bleeding after the procedure at all however my doctor has me on pevic and bed rest until I have my baby in February.

It's a easy procedure! I actually go on the 4th of October to have my third one out in! Don't be nervous!  Just a extra step to take to make sure your baby doesn't come too soon! There isn't any recovery so afterwards you should be just fine! And won't feel a thing! You'll never know it's there!
