I am also due in September. At 3 month's the baby won't even be aware they've had something new or what is going on. I think enough of our family will buy presents for the baby. They don't really need much at that age so I will probably just buy a few small things for when he/she is older and put them away until they are old enough. Xmas is good once they're about 3 cos they really know what's going on then
I rewrapped some of the gifts we were given at my shower for my daughter (who was a month old at her fist Christmas) and took pics of her with them. Totally cheating bit she didn't care either way!
My baby is due in September too and I'm not gonna get presents for Christmas. It may sound bad, but my little bean will only be 3 months and not really into too much. They can't even open presents. Plus, I know we will get stuff from family. I'm just gonna get things that the baby needs when I see it instead of waiting lol
Im due in September and I plan to get my baby presents. Stuff like clothes, a toy and what not. Wont be going crazy. I buy things for my dogs on Christmas they dont understand whats going on or that Its Christmas. My husband and I have to open up the presents and give it to them but it makes them happy and us and that is all that matters. Even if my baby cant understand or open just knowing he or she is getting something on a special day will make my day very special also. :)
Im due also in September and were just going to get the baby stuff he or she needs nothing big and fancy. They will be sleeping n fussy most of the day anyway :)
I had my son in Feb 2011 and Dec 2010 we bought for him but it was little things like outfits for me Nd his daddy to open n family did same for us to open for out son we will again buy some things like clothes and other little bits nice outfits and family will do the same :) and we due in Sept aswell
I think I'll just get a Christmas tree bauble that says "Baby's First Christmas"
More for me than baby but it'll be around forever.
I just didn't want to be the only one not buying. As long as they have what they need, there's no need to splurge, right?
I'm due in August. I don't think babies need Christmas presents
