Cleaners and pregnancy...

Hello all.  Just found out I'm pregnant.  Due dates April 22nd.  Anyway, I clean a couple houses every week.  I generally use clorox, pledge, and windex.  Mind u, I don't overdue the use of any of it and it's only once a week.  Has anyone else done this?  Or is this like a big no-no to everyone?  Any thoughts are welcome...

Thanks.

Thanks everyone.  This is my third and I cleaned my house with both the other two.  But, used all the green works products.  The houses I clean are specific on what they want used.  I clean with my MIL so, I'll just leave the bathrooms for her.  Except, the pregnancy's still a "secret" so, I'll just conviently "avoid" the bathrooms until we announce the news.

i used clorox and other fuming house cleaners through out both my pregnancies and use it during this pregnancy, but like the others said, just make sure it isnt too strong and the area your cleaning is well ventilated.

You should stay away from bleach and harsh chemical cleaners.  Pledge and Windex are fine, but you shouldn't use chemical cleaners at all.  Make sure whenever your cleaning with anything that you have the windows open so your not inhaling fumes.  And don't over do it!
I was cleaning the bathroom and got light headed and fell into the bathtub.  (Not my finest moment. Thank God my baby is ok.)  I asked the doc why and she said that pregnant women get light headed and even dizzy at times because of the changes our body goes through.  You can always talk to your doc too!  Congrats and best of luck!

I was a cleaning freak my whole pregnancy, as long as the fumes arent bugging you and you are keeping the area your cleaning well ventilated you and baby should be fine! You can always run it by your OB to be sure though. Congrats!!!
