Contractions

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant . This is my first pregnancy by the way, and I'm just a little curious , how do contractions feel? And will I know right away when I'm having any? Please help!! Thanks.

I'm experiencing them for the first time now too. Mine are pretty painless. Just feel my stomack becoming all stiff for a few seconds. Sometimes it feels like someone kicked me in the gut to a point where uts difficult to catch a breath. Been happening throughout the day but mainly at night. A few times an hour.
I didn't go into labor yet though so I'm sure those ones are really painful.

Omg! I've been feeling like that lately, like my stomach will feel stiff almost rock hard for a couple of seconds or so and then it'll go away.

Those are braxton hicks most likely.
