Cord Blood Banking
(Ftm)I keep receiving broshures in the mail about this but I'm not sure what it is. Can someone please explain what this is?
I purchased it for my daughter. Basically they save the cord blood and tissue (they are two seperate packages to purchase) and if your child were to end up with something like cancer they can use the cord blood to save the child's life. It's expensive though. I payed over $3,000 and then there's a yearly fee of around $200
It's to donate the baby's umbilical cord it can serve many purposes in medical research.
