Discouraged

Not really a question, just feeling down. It has been 9 months since we really started trying to get pregnant. I have taken clomid and still take metformin everyday. Just turned 36 earlier this month and am really feeling the tick tick tick as the big 4-0 looms closer and closer. I really thought this might be the month, we timed everything really well. I just don't know what to think anymore. Maybe it's just not meant to be....

Honestly, Clomid didn't help us. We went to a fertility doctor, and what do you know, already pregnant with our second child!!!! SO, my advise, do it through fertility doctors, they know what they are doing and your chances to become pregnant are MUCH higher!!

I know exactly how you feel.  I'm in month 9 of ttc, 35 years old and starting to wonder if it is ever going to happen.  I hate the waiting and the hoping only to get the big let down.  AF started yesterday for me.  I really thought this would be the month.  We timed everything right and I was even a day late on my period, but no such luck.

I am so sorry you're feeling down and discouraged! Maybe it is time for a break?! Sometimes that helps, I'm so serious. Just take a break without the Clomid, without charting and temping. Just have fun, maybe go to a Bed & Breakfast, pamper yourselves. It can recharge those batteries!
