Both my boyfriend and I read to our son. He will sing sons to him as well. He already has his library started lol. I don't think it's dumb at all btw.

It's not weird to do that i do it when I'm pregnant my grandma actually encouraged me to read and sing and talk to my baby and honestly it made my bond with my baby stronger feeling her kick and bounce around when i chatted to her my son's father talked to him so much it's like he was glued to my belly and it was the same way as with my daughter

You're not crazy at all! And she will always love you, that bond is unbreakable, nothing you can do that will make her not love you. It's good you're excited and want to build a bond with your baby :)

I love to sing, and had an hour and a half commute to school everyday. So I'd sing all the way there and back. I have a mix cd of my favorite songs, and sang those on repeat. My LO is 6 weeks old, and when I sing to her, especially those songs she calms down, and smiles. I think she remembers when I sang while pregnant.  :)

I talk and sing to her all the time! But she goes crazy when daddy talks to her! It's a super cute bonding moment, especially because he can't feel her kicking yet. I say go for it, you may feel a little silly at first, but don't worry, everyone does it haha :)

I talk to my little girl all the time.
When daddy talks to her, she kicks like crazy.  Super cute.  Not dumb at all. It's a good way to start the bonding process.

This is def not dumb. Lol I read to my baby,  sing songs, talk to my baby... anyway I cam to bond with baby. At a certain point,  baby can hear u & get to know your voice & some ppl say it makes the baby smarter.  I'm for anything productive.. so have at it momma! Moms know best!

Yes ma'am. Ever since baby started hearing I have been talking. I also read to baby. My hubby sings and plays the guitar & baby loves that.

I do, I read Baby Einstein to my son and I sing to him and talk to him, so does his daddy, it tends to calm him down when he's being really active
