Is it breckenridge Heights Apartments in Olympia? lol Or is he in Tacoma? My husband and I had our car broken into the first weekend we were there, but luckily hubby had a car alarm and it scared them away before they could do any real damage.

We lived in both Tacoma and Olympia, Average rent there is 900 a month which is crazy! Groceries are expensive, everything in general is expensive up there. I don't mind the cold, I live in MI now, but the crime...the price and so forth is just not worth living in WA lol.

I wish him the best of luck though.

My dad got transferred to Seattle when I was younger and the only thing i remember is the cold. I would never willingly go back.  My brother who is up there now loves it.  He loves camping in the mountains and sking.  Sometimes I wonder if he was adopted lol.

He just moved off base into an apartment and the rent is $900.00 and he says thats average and the cost of living is very expensive.  He says its dirty and theres lots of crime too.  He's already had his gps stolen out of his car and witnessed a shooting.  But he still likes it

I just watched part of that episode on youtube. It was def. a cry fest lol. I did see that Amanda died, which was sad but soooo expected. Now im just waiting to see how joan is after her c-section. I bet they had to do a hysterectomy and she is going to have issues with her PTSD again...and roland is gonna flip out lol. Some of it is very predictable, but the drama is AWESOME!

bTS...I know that one of the daughters did die...I wasn't there when it happened but I remember a few episodes when they would talk about it and stuff. I missed the bomb and stuff but I know a lot of people died. You should definately get all caught up! As should I! Is the first season available yet?

lol my hubby is the same way, he gets soooo aggrivated that the army stuff in it is fake. And I try to explain to him that is TV! Almost everything on TV is fake lol. Hubby was in for 8 years and it drives him bonkers that even though we are out, I still watch it lol. It's good drama, and good story lines behind it, and thats why I like it. It's like the new milleniums soap operas..except not as boring.

BTW- did anyone see the last episode of last season? Where the dude came to the bar with the bomb? I missed this seasons first episode, what all happened, did claudia Joy's oldest daughter die in that? I can't seem to find it online to watch it...im sooo bummed.

I love this show...though this season i have missed most of it but thanks to Netflix i will be able to watch the whole season. Yippy. My hubby is in the ARMY has been for 6 years (Airborne Infantry) and well makes him mad that stuff on that show is not accurate. He has been overseas twice and he thinks its BS how they make the guys look, he talks about there uniforms are not right, and how a lady has a badge only men can have in the ARMY. I still love the show, its like any other show that they make up, not all the info is going to be correct. The life of an ARMY family is not what they make out to be, yeah some it might be correct but its not all what it comes down to.

I love the show too. My boyfriend loves the military and he kinda laughs at it too since its so fake, but I like it! If steven ever joined the military it gives me an idea of living on the base and stuff...I just watched it on Sunday night..I don't think to watch it, just when I go to bed on sunday I always seem to catch most of it because I watch tv and i love lifetime lol. Don't they run the last week's episode then the new episode so  you can catch up and then move on with it? I love when shows do that. Good show though. I hope Joan is okay! I watched when she got pregnant until now. I never thought I would like the show but with whats been happening on it lately I am hooked. ANd then Grey's Anatomy gets played on Lifetime too so I love watching that channel!

My husband and I just got back from Ft Lewis.

Hubby was apart of the 14th cmbt engineers. We lived there for about 2 1/2 years. Hubby was deployed out of there once. I hated the place lol it was cold....wet....and expensive. The people on Ft. Lewis aren't very nice either. Tell him to watch out for 1st sgt Pinos lol He is a major a$$.

I love that show.. I watched the first season while I Was prengnat and cried at every episode... my dhs dad is in the army and some of that stuff is true.. like BTS said they do form cliques and they can be vicious... there are some army wives that will spread vicious rumors about you and it doesnt take long for it to get the whole way around the base..

yeah i know its not.  my brother watched it once with me when he was home on leave and he laughed at it.  Its not accruate but now when he tells me something i can picture what i saw on army wives and at least have a mental image, even if its not correct.

I miss him like crazy. He got moved to fort lewis in washington state and we live in florida.  he was stationed in fort benning in ga and he was almost almost every weekend.  since going to washington hes only been home a couple of times.  Its weird but the show kinda gives me a way to stay connected to him, plus its full of drama =)

Krystal...

It's not accurate at all lol, the only thing they do have correct is that most army wives do create their own little clique, and they do a lot of gossiping lol. I was an army wife for 4 years, and It is def, not something I would do over again lol.

Im in love with the show.  Its the only show I make sure to watch every week.  My youngest brother joined the army 2 years ago and its hard for me to picture certain things he talks about bc Ive never been on a military base or known anyone personally who is in the military.  So I started watching it so i could better relate to his army life, and im hooked.  I know its not 100% accurate but it gives me a basic understanding of what army life is like.

i watch it all the time. My husband was army recently discharged for medical reasons. But i love it, even though half of the army stuff in it is bull, it's still good drama.
