Doppler appointment experiences.

On January 15th, I am going to the doctor to see if we can hear baby's hearbeat with a doppler. I will be close to 12 weeks along. I wanted to bring my boyfriend to this appointment since it is actually exciting haha but I am nervous doctor won't find baby's heartbeat. I want to hear your experiences, ladies. Btw...I am 5 7 1/2 and weigh 266.

Thanks ladies. This will be first time actually hearing heartbeat so I hope my doctor can find it. I would prefer not getting an ultrasound because they are expensive (but of course I want to make sure everything is okay) and I am having problems with medicaid. :/

I went in at 15weeks and my Dr couldn't find the heartbeat. It scared the death out of me. He then sent me for an ultrasound right after and everything was good.

I heard mine at near 12 wks I'm 5'8 204, if you don't hear it, it's not to worry, sometimes the Doppler can't pick it up, I bet you'll hear it tho! :)
