Echogenic foci

Ok I'm 27w 3d, when I got my 20 week ultra sound they found an echogenic foci. They told me not to worry usally it's nothing, in my screening I was 1/1800 even with the echogenic foci I'm 1/900. The average person in my age was 1/260 ( I think) so I'm good as far as statics go. Now I just got off the phone with my daughters aunt, she had a baby who had lots of complications, and passed away, among the things he had an echogenic foci & was born with down syndrome, my dr said they wouldn't recommend an amneo. But with this new info I'm freaking out & dont really know what to do.... any advice???

Thanks this is my first baby . & everything I do look up dosn't tell me much, I just wasn't sure if it was one of those things where both parents had to be carriers, I live in a small town & there is only one ob, they have 6 midwives &3 dr  so I dont feel like they do one on one, but if it usally goes away by 3rd trimester I might push for another ultrasound

I looked it up because someone else asked the same thing yesterday and they said that it usually goes away by the 3rd trimester and that it can be a normal part of growth. If ur doctor isn't too concerned don't stress urself out about it and do some research, it might ease ur mind a little
