Did it work for anyone? How dilated where you when you got it done? How long did it take to work?

Ok I got mine about two hours ago. I've been bleeding like crazy and have lost my entire mucous plug. My contractions haven't picked up much yet so we'll try sex and bile stimulation once our daughter is asleep.

Maybe I will ask my doctor to do this for me. My next appointment is Friday and I will be 39 weeks the following day. My baby was estimated at 7 pounds 5 ounces two weeks ago so I would like to see her come sooner than later!

And im also 2cm dilated, maybe more i havent been checked in a few days.

Yeah im 37+1 but im having twins so im considered full term i know alot of docs wont do it til 39weeks.

I took castor oil the day before mine. (I didn't know she was doing it til after she did it-which explained the uncomfortableness.) But my water broke a few hours later and I had Mt daughter the following morning :)

Basically your Dr/midwife inserts a finger into your cervix and tries to separate your bag of waters from the cervical opening. This can stimulate prostaglandin production which can help put you into labor.

^^ same.  I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. I wonder if my doctor will do it.  A lot of girls ik for them at 37 weeks
