Extreme thirst!

I am a little over four weeks but I have had this extreme thirst since Friday! is this normal? I have been pregnant twice before. One was a tubal and the other a miscarriage and I did not feel like this. Today I drank 3 bottles of water, 2 large gatorades (someone said they would help) and a small glass of tea. I am now workin on my fourth bottle of water and will probably drink a fifth before bed. Is this normal so early on in pregnancy? I usually only drink half this amount in a day.

There is a possibility that you could be pregnant but you could also have a reproduction problem going on. If you have been trying for 15 months unsuccessfully then it's time to talk to your doctor. I stopped taking the pill then had very bad messed up periods that only happened every two to three months. I have pcos and was able to conceive after receiving medical help. Please go to your doctor and have them run some tests.

I have a question I have been ttc for about 15 months after being off the depo. My question is that for the past three days I have been thirsty and felt dehydrated, also I have had tender boobs for three days as well. When I read bout my syptoms it was either breast cancer, ovulation, pregnant, or about to start. Seeing as my periods have been messed up because of the depo and I haven't had a period in about two months almost three, I took a prego test and it came back nego...like most women I'm hoping it's not breast cancer but idk... Anyone I was just wondering if there is a possibility that I might be prego and may need to take another prego test??? Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks :)

Hate my phone..
It wasn't so bad during the end of the 1st and during most of my second trimester. I am 24 weeks now and the being thirsty all the time just hit me and constantly peeing. Lol.

You're welcome! The electrolytes in the Gatorade is good for you! I would also try vitamin water....especially the ones with the potassium in it...those always helped my morning sickness and leg cramps! Its good to talk to your doctor about your concerns! Best of luck dear!

Thanks for responding! I havent had any cola or carbonated drink in over a week and I have drastically cut down on drinking sweet tea which is tough for a southern girl! I was very worried about the Gatorade but everything I have read says that's it's fine because it's a hydrator and doesn't contain caffeine. It did make the thirst subside for a little while and get rid of the slight nausea that has started to show it's ugly head. I'll probably call my doctor tomorrow just to make sure that it would be ok before I drink any more! Again thank you for responding! I don't feel so weird now!

Oh and a heads up...drinking any kind of sugary drinks or pop will dehydrate you can cause you to be more thirsty!
