Femer length is 6.71cm at 38 weeks, corresponds to 34 weeks, 4 days

Hi Folks!

My wife had a scan yesterday at 38 weeks, the results show that the femer length is 6.71cm and it corresponds to 34 weeks 4 days.

Is there any problem with this? she is due for delivery in about 10 days. I'm lot worried about this, please advise.

Talk to the doc about your worry. I was told gestational age is more accurate through ultrasound. As Kat_g92 mentioned, the doc will explain things better. Good luck.

As well later ultrasounds aren't as reliable as the earlier ones so baby could be measuring at 34 weeks but really be on track for 38 weeks.

I think what this means is baby is just measuring small I don't think it's anything to worry about though. But I'm not a doctor and our son is measuring on track altogether so just my opinion if it's that worrisome call the doctor they can tell you if it's something to worry about or not. Hope this helps!
