First Time Moms

I'm 39 weeks + 1 day. I have 6 days left to go but I'm only dilated to a 1 and have been for the last month now and I haven't had any contractions or any signs really that I'm even close to going into labor except for losing a little bit of mucous here and there. Are any of you moms close to 39 weeks with no signs of labor soon? I feel like it's never going to happen and I'm gonna have to be induced.

Walk a lot and do squats, that should help yu induce naturally.

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow an have not dilated at all. I had the same problem you are having with my first an ended up going past 42 week an had to be induced. The only thing I can say is walk like crazy try everything that is anything to help dilate you more. I wish you the best of luck

I'm 40+3 and still haven't lost my mucus plug. At my last appointment 6days ago I was 1cm dialated. There's nothing I can do but be patient. Hopefully something happens soon for the both of us. =(
