God Parents

I'm curious how other mom's who picked God parents for their children went about it? My boyfriend and I are having such a hard time trying to figure it out. Who did you ladies pick? How did you make the decision?

My best friend and my husbands best friend are our children's godparents. I've been friends with my best friend since we were 5 we are now 24 so she is more like a sister. And my husband has been friends with his since they were 15 and he is now 26 so also more like a brother.

My bestfriend and her boyfriend we have all known eachother since kindergarten they're amazing ..and don't have kids of their on yet they know its not just for a title too

Our choices are based on who we trust, and who would literally be just as good of parents as we are. Lol, and they're not a couple. So, makes a huge plus. :)

My best friend and her boyfriend make me nervous because they can't commit to each other, which is why I haven't picked her. I really want the people we pick to be special. :)

People you are close to and trust and who are mature and financially able yo care for a child in case you and the father die. People who are stable (example dont pick a couple who break up every other week) and people who have been together for a while.

My little sister is my baby's god mother. She's my best friend... We're really close. And my husband deployed with a friend and then ended up being roommates and they clicked. That's how we picked.
