Gross Pregnancy Question

So. . . I've heard that many women during pregnancy have issues with constipation, and it's quite normal.  Well, I've had issues with the opposite of constipation.  I've had loose stools.  It worries me.  Is loose stool also common?

Yeah enjoy it now cause it'll get bad later when you start with the constipation! Or if you start on iron pills (if you develop anemia later on)

I had the same thing last month and my doc said that taking prenatals can cause this - specifically all the iron in them. I have now experienced both loose stools and constipation and I have to admit that the loose stools is nothing to complain about. Enjoy it while it lasts. :)

Thanks ladies!  I have an OB appointment on Thursday, so I'll bring it up.  I was just worried, but it sounds like, many women also have this.  Whew.

I have both when I"m pregnant.  I start out constipated then I'm normally pretty loose after week 5 or 6.  I do have gas pains during the first trimester though.

I had that with my first pregnancy, all turned out well as long as you're getting all the vitamins and nutrition that you need and it's not bad enough to cause you to become dehydrated.  I have the opposite problem this pregnancy though.  I'm kind of wishing I was back in those old shoes again. =)
