Group b strep

So my doctor told me today that my test came out positive. I didn't have group b strep with my first and don't really know much other than I'll need antibiotics during delivery. I've been doing a little research but it doesn't say anything about if I will be able to have an epidural as well as have the antibiotics. Obv if I can't I'll have to skip the epidural because i want whats best for my baby, but does anyone know if you can do both or will it effect the antibiotics? With my first I had an epidural and will absolutely have one this time around if possible.

I had it too and yes you can still have the epidural. Group strep b isn't a bad thing at all for adults, it's just not good for baby, that's why we need  the antibiotics.
