For some people ive heard that their hair didnt take the color and it basically washed out! Just depends on the person and how their hair was before. Like said above, your not ingesting anything. So as long as your in a well ventilated area your fine!
Actually she said that the best time to die your hair or grow it out would be when your pregnant because your hair takes the color a lot better and the chemicals your body produces while pregnant actually causes your hair to grow faster and healthier.
My doctor and everything I have read says it is 100% safe. You're not ingesting any of the chemicals. She just told me to keep the environment well ventilated because the smell can affect you more while you're pregnant because your nose is so much more sensitive. But it won't affect the baby at all.
Did the doctors ever tell you it was 100% safe? Because I've heard differnt, many people i know usually ask their doctors and some say no amd some say yes depending hoe far along they are. I'm just curious.
It is 100% safe but try to use ammonia-free products. Ive dyed my hair my whole pregnancy and am 38 weeks just dyed it again last week. I think my color actually turns out better than expected :)
I want to too! But i think 9 weeks is way to early. I'm 26 weeks and I'm gonna wait another month before i dye my hair, but i suggest if you do decide to color your hair to wear those things that cover your mouth and nose like the ones the doctors use. So you don't breath in the chemicals. Which is what i plan on doing :)
I wouldnt recommend it till your 2nd trimester cause your baby is still in the "unsafe" zone right now and the chemicals could make you miscarry being that early
I would wait until your in the second trimester and ask the hair dresser.. Some will do it some won't.. Also make sure the place you get it done is well ventilated
