Hard belly???

Okay so I'm 37 weeks and I realized when I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes my stomach is uncomfortably hard.... What does that mean? It's happened for a while, but now it's more uncomfortable.

Braxton Hicks lol I never really noticed mine aside from the tightness. It felt so similar to my daughter stretching and holding the position that I was never quite sure which it was at first lol. My water actually broke before I even noticed I was in real labor. If I was having contractions before, they were so subtle I didn't notice lmao

I have been having Braxton hicks for about 2 months now. This is my second and I'm almost 39 wks. Those are definitely Braxton hicks contractions your having. They don't hurt usually and yes your whole belly gets very hard.

34 weeks and I get them a lot also. Uncomfortable but not painful. With braxton Hicks usually if you reposition or rest they go away pretty easy. More of a pain in the butt than anything

It sounds like braxton hicks which are meant to be painless contractions in preparation for labour. I'm 33 weeks and noticed I had one yesterday. They are irregular contractions so of you find they are close together and growing in intensity you should head to hospital. Good luck mama you don't have long togo now x

O, it doesn't hurt though? This is my second daughter, but with my first I had to be induced so I don't know what to expect with regular progress
