Has anyone gotten a faint positive and a BFN 2 hours later??
Ok so my husband and I had sex during my "5 day" ovulation period. He pulled out, as we are not trying but wont be sad if we get pregnant :) Anyway, my period is 5 days late, I cannot eat anything without it going straight through me(so for details but thats not normal for me) my nipples are itchy, my breasts are sore, and so on and so forth. I am between 14 DPO - 17DPO (sorry I dont track it that hard)So I have been taking tests everyday since day 1 of missing my period and all have been BFN! until today, I took a test, thinking it said negative I threw it away. I started reading a pregnancy forum where a girl found out she had throw away her positive results, so I immediately retrieved them from the trash, and low and behold, there it was.....a faint and barely noticeable line. So thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me, I went to take another. Negative, until 10 mins later and there the line was again. So i waited a few hours, took another, and it was a BFN! By this point, the idea of being pregnant is setting in and I want to be. I have an "almost" 3 year old so I think the timing is perfect! Has anyone had these results???
Try not to worry. ... The bfn at the Dr's office scared me too but sometimes there is just less dye in some tests even if they are in the same package!! It also could be that the amount of hcg that each test measures is different (usually only if it's a different brand) or that your urine was watered down for the third one!! I wouldn't worry unless you keep getting them for a few days!! ;-)
Yeah, I was freaking out at first, then I saw the faint line and got REALLY excited, only to get disappointed by the BFN! so I have been reading forum all day.
Ya me too lol.... It's so easy to get lost in the pregnancy stuff but the wait still feels like forever!
I saw that!! Pretty cool, I sat there for an hour comparing my test to theirs, haha. It was keeping me sane for a few mins. LOL
I swore I was pregnant from 6dpo!! You know your body and sometimes it just takes a while to show up or you could have implanted late!! I'm sure you will get a definite bfp any day now!! Oh and if you're really wondering about the tests you can Google test tweakers.... You upload a pic of your test and they will help you decide if it's a real positive or just an evaporation line by tweaking the pic to see it better!
I finally gave up on all the test and paid 15 dollars for a blood test at a clinic. 30 minutes later I walked out with a due date!
It does!!! I feel like im going completely crazy!! and I dont want to freak my husband out over nothing,so Im not telling him, making me even more crazy.lol. I am 5 days late for AF, tomorrow will be 6 days. Everyone just keeps telling me its stress, but I just dont feel like thats it.
I got all bfns until about 17dpo and then it was extremely extremely faint!! I told my doctor, she took a test and it was negative.... so I felt like I was crazy and of course bought more tests!! All of the ones I took at home were very very light but I was due they were there until about 19dpo when it came out enough to be sure it was a bfp, but my real confirmation was finally at 22dpo when it was almost as dark add the control line!! I had 2 faint lines when I found out I was pregnant. I went to planned parenthood and they told me I was "definitely not pregnant" but I am 35 weeks now lol
Yeah, I have been taking them in the morning, but I was afraid it was too early. I read that sometimes a HPT wont show up until like 18 DPO. Im going to try again in the AM :)
They best time of the day to take a pregnancy test is right in the moring when you wake up ;) try it again tomorrow
