I got Heatburn right at the end of my pregnancy, I chewed on Mylanta to ease it, I used to get it alot after dinner, drinking soda or just lying down for long periods at a time... I think its due to the fact that bubs is laying closer to your stomach.
Oh sorry I forgot to answer your question...I dint get it untill about 3 months
I've had heartburn for most of my pregnancy...not fun at all. Mine would get really bad in the middle of the night! Tums seemed to be the only thing that really soothed it. (Try to get good flavors!) Also, milk can sometimes help to soothe it as well. Other than that....I'm not too sure what else could help.....oh wait....have you tried ginger?? That would work. I use to get the capsules and take them or if it was really bad I would break the capsule open take it and chug water with it....that got to it VERY fast....not a pleasant taste...but it worked! I hope you get some relief soon!!
I dont have a remedy but I do take mylanta.....
I have to stay away from green apples(my fav!) and anything with tomato in it:( But then again I get from just about anything:( As a matter of fact I feel kinda icky now and I haven't eaten anything since dinner at 6pm!!UGH I hate heartburn!!!!
