I think shopping a little bit at a time is less stressful than dumping hundreds of dollars in just a couple weeks. Plus you can take advantage of coupons, sales and clearance racks. Plus if you shop around you'll find some basics cost more at some stores than others.

The longer you wait to shop, the more overwhelming it will be.
I bought and  set up my daughters crib at 16 weeks.  Had everything ready super early.  Less stress. I say shop now. It won't hurt. Time flies

I started between my 25 n 30 week mark buying a few things each week. Kept me busy I did online shopping so almost each day/week I had a package coming in so fun :-) good luck hun!
