I am sorry sweetie...but dropping HCG levels isn't promising. :(
If you need someone to talk to...please let me know.
Also...it is my personal opinion that if you ARE miscarrying you should probably wait atleast 3-6 cycles to try again. Give your body time to heal after this miscarriage. I know when I had my 2nd miscarriage I got pregnant a month later and miscarried for a 3rd time. If you DO have a D&C ask them if they can send off for a full genetic work up to rule out any genetic abnormalities that could happen again!
well they said my levels dropped they are 234! so does that mean that im m/c again???? or have there been any one who went through this and had a great full trem pregnancy?
I will wait it out the waiting part is what scares me! but you guys are all so wonderful thank you so much for everything you have given me hope!!!
My dr will be calling me today sometime to give me the results of my levels! so we will see if they are still going up! i still feel like im preg. so idk my bbs hurt like crazy and still bloated and some morning sickness! thank you all again!
I will be back on with an update on this as soon as i hear! =0)

In total agreement with everyone else. Wait it out instead of going for the D&C. That website I gave you is mainly about women who were misdiagnosed to miscarry and ended up having their babies.
I am so sorry for your situation. You DR should give you the choice to have a D&C or wait -- mine did. If it is not meant to be, it will eventually take care of itself, but at least it buys you time. Also - levels rising are levels rising, at least it is not levels falling. I would see if they can check levels in another 3-4 days, if they do not drop, give your self time - and don't get pressured into a D & C if you are not ready -- there is nothing wrong with waiting and it will not harm your body.
DO NOT GET A D&C UNTIL AFTER 8-9 WEEKS!!! I had a very similar situation. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. The next day I started to spot. I had my HCG drawn and it only went up 20% in two days. I was told I was having a miscarriage but if I wanted to make sure I could wait until 7 weeks to get a u/s which is really about the first time you can see the heart beat. I chose to wait it out. I went in at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat. I now have a 10.5 month old perfect baby boy! Wait out the next 3 weeks and see what happens. Some people's bodies just dont product doubling HCG. As long as it has increased I would keep positive. Good Luck!!!
Hi sweetie...first of all...let me tell you how sorry I am for what you are going through. I have been there many times before. Here is my advice. PLEASE PLEASE do not choose to do a D&C unless you have waited this thing out atleast another month or so. On my 2nd and 3rd miscarriages I had D&C's and the 3rd one I wish I hadn't. I just had a feeling that the baby was fine. The doctor pretty much told me that HE was the doctor and he KNEW that I had lost the baby.
See if she will let you put off a D&C until the 8 week mark. By then you should be able to see a heartbeat to confirm. Although your HCG isn't doubling like it should...it IS slowly rising....which should ATLEAST be an encouraging sign.
Let us know what is going on!
Yeah i will do that! thank you! i guess i was wrong it only went up 10 on wed it was 336 and friday it was 346! i will findout tomorrow but she was already talking to me about a D&C! OMG!!! I just hope that it is a good pregnancy! Yes i did have an ultrasound and they said there was deff. something in there and it looks to be 4 weeks!
I agree with JoyRenee. I had a miscarriage September 14 2007 and found out I was pregnant agian on October 15 2007.They only checked my hcg levels one time to verify pregnancy. Did your doctor do a ultrasound? You should def. check out the website JoyRenee posted... Best of Luck and keep us posted.
I got pregnant after a miscarriage and my daughter is 15 months old now. However I didn't have my HCG levels checked during that pregnancy. You should check out the website misdiagnosedmiscarriage because you'll find lots of other women there who have probably gone through slow-rising HCG issues!
