Also most growth spurts don't last more than a day, my daughters lasted about a week, that's why I say if it continues in a few days then consult someone.

She may be going through a growth spurt, for the first 6 weeks they "cluster feed" and eat constantly.. My daughter would do the same, eat then cry immediately after. Make sure you're counting her dirty diapers, she should be getting at least 4-8 a day and if she is, then she's getting enough, if not, she may not be. If it continues for more than a few days I would also consult a lactation consultant.

I'm a ftm so I have no experience, but maybe you should contact a lactation consultant or someone at the hospital just to check your latch. I've heard a lot of stories about babies like that and the mothers assumed they we're eating too much, but really the latch was wrong and they weren't getting enough, that's why  they want the boob all the time. If not, could it be colic?
