Help please
Hi I am 21 years old. I was taking ortho tricylen lo for about 6-4 months. Around the middle of Dec. I ran out and decided that it wasnt for me because i couldnt keep up with refilling my perscription. Jan. came around and I had a very light period from the 15th to the 18th. After I had ALOT of cramping and sickness, and due to the fact that i got married on the 17th of jan I thought I could be pregnant. Turned out I took a test and they were neg. I got really sick and ended up in the ER and was told I had a 5cm cyst on my left ovary and a 2cm on the right. Most likely caused from the birth control because I have family history of having problems when taking it. On Feb. 18th I started bleeding badly and had bad pain and ended up in the ER again. They called in my DR and she almost did surgery to remove my left ovary but didnt because we wanted to have kids she decided to wait. The bleeding was caused because of my MC and ended on the 24th.
I continued to see my doctor she said they were getting smaller and we talked to her about having a baby she said to have at it. March on the 21st-26tth.
But I didn't have a period in april, and I am asuming its around that time again and still nothing. After my first missed period I took two preg. test both neg. I also had an ultrasound before the missed period and thought I might have been pregnant but they didnt see anything. I got the results back and she said the cyst where practicaly gone and not to worry about them anymore. So I started an opk thinking I might just be ovulating late. I have taken nine of the test. From the start they have all been positive but one. I took the first one the 23rd of April. I took one first thing this morning and it was VERY positive and I got to thinking I couldnt have been ovulating this long. So I got online to see what else could cause this. I read alot that you could get a pos. when you are pregnant on a ovulation test. So I took another one cause I was like ok this one must be messed up. Well that was came out pos too but not as dark as the one i used FMU with. So I was like okay this is really weird So I went and got a preg. test it was a def. No. So I have taken 12 ovulation test now with one neg between the 23rd of april and today with 4 neg pregnancy test. I really dont know whats going on. Is it posable to get neg preg test and pos opk when preg.? I have a history on my mothers side of the preg. test being neg when pregnant. My granmother didnt find out till she was six months and they where taking out her opendix. Please help me find some answers.

Well I have had alot of swelling in my breast from 25in around my bust to 32in and its holding they dont ache as bad as the first two days. I called the doc they said to go to the testing center and i got a blood preg test find out the results tomorrow. If i am wensday will be eight weeks. Right now my main symptoms are eating ALOT more then i normaly do cant seem to get full lol. pain like pinching in my ovaries and my breast swelling, and of course no period. So i dont think ima go to the app. on the 17th with my local obgyn im going to have to continue seeing my other doc. even tho im out of town just to keep form having to start over. just praying now that its not something serious because the longer this is taking the more frightening it gets to think that by the time they find out whats going on with me it could have gone to far to save anything. All my life i have dreamed of having my own kids so right now im just praying someday i will still be able to do that after this is over.
WOW ok so all my lvls are normal and i got my period june after provvera and again in july. I was so happy except i was having ovary pain but that is a normal thing cause the cyst are prob comin back up so i thought everything would be normal.

I did not have my period in aug. In july i had a normal period and then ovulated on the 13/14th cd then on cd 20 i started spotting i was like WTH? I have a problem gettin my period not having it early EVER. the spotting lasted for about 5 days brownish with CM (tmi sorry) i thought it was very strange so i looked it up and the only explinations is left over blood that comes when you O. And seeing as i already did I ruled that out. Then from implantation. So I waited I took a test yesterday and a week before that both neg. So im not pregnant. I have had so many symptoms but most are the same as my norm pms. Except for panic attacks,i cant sleep, and heart burn omg i could drink milk and get heartburn i woke up with it. its starting to go away the past few days. But yesterday, I noticed pain under my arms in the glands, ive had it before when i was younger and never really thought about it. But yesterday it was different my breast started hurting down the sides and then my whole chest hurt my shoulders arms back boobs everything it hurt soooo bad. I had to sleep with an ice pack on my chest.Ihave had swelling as psm in my breast but never pain and never like this. They are swollen its like filling up a water ballon they are heavey. Today it still hurts and im having some pelvic pain and hip pain. So Im not sure what to think. I have a Doc. ap. on the 17th and by then if i dont get a period that will make two. I just want the pain to stop. I will let you know what happends.

I had the same problem and didn't have a period for 6 months! I had all of the symptoms and my doctors couldn't explain it... so after six months I finally had a period and I took opks consistently and I finally got a positive 8 days ago. I went to my new doctor yesterday and they took blood and I won't know for another week or so. I totally understand what you are going through and it is more than likely a hormone in balance due to you coming of birth control. Your body is used to having those hormones in your body to regulate your period and now your body has to make up for it :) I hope this helps :)
Alright so i still havent gotten my last test results back the meds did cause me to have a MC but it was about three days of spotting and two actually full days so thats still not good.
OMG ok somebody needs to like help me know. ok i had the cramping right well my tummy was a lil sore yesterday but it went away well today OMFG i cant even touch it its so sore and it hurts so bad i didnt even know it till i went to bed and laid my hand on my tummy and i was like omg ow so i poked it with a finger and i thought i was going to cry i checked everything and it doesnt do it on my ovaries just the uterus and its so bad. SO sore uterus, posably swolen, and a higher then norm temp says infection to me so ima call my doc tomorrow. Im really for a u/s NOW because i just have a feeling we will see whatever is going on in there. mean while ima go cry cause it hurts so bad
P.S. sorry is everyone is annoyed with me posting on this so much its just that when someone else is going through something that i would like to know more info on cause i could be going through it i get really agervated when they dont tell you what happened or whats going on lol.
i forgot to add also ive been feeling a little hot lately my norm temp is 96. some say thats a lil low but my mom is the same way and its always like that. so i took my temp oral was 98.1 and vag. is 98.8 so im running a little hotter then normal dont really know what that means because if i already oed like what is posably twice after my last period and i havent had once sence theres no way its another o lol. i guess ill just keep a check see what it is tomorrow.
ok so im realy trying to like not worry about this but when its affecting every part of your life from rolling over in the morning AND getting up to pee to wether or not you can sit or stand at any given moment or wether you can eat because you dont want to puke its hard not to. Day 2 with the provera still nothing BUT its helping my cramps which makes me think if they where MC i would have more and start, but if i was pregger and it was not doing so well that would give me a posiable neg test and cramps and the meds would help so im still confused. I took a ben. for my rash but it makes me have panic attacks when it starts wearing off so i cnt take it the itching is a lil better today so maybe i just ate the wrong thing lol
So today I started taking the meds and its just PGST pills but anyway I was cramping really bad and after a lil while from when I took it I noticed I wasnt cramping anymore which is odd to me. BUT I was looking for a thread and I guess I'll keep looking but lately I noticed my eczema is getting worse and i thought it was because my body is under stress. But today i also noticed that its ALOT more bumpy-er then normal and its ALOT more itchy and spreading and my cream isnt helping anymore. When I saw the bumps it reminded me of PUPPS i was like oh ****. SO i guess im just wondering has anyone ever heard of getting pupps from a hormone imbalance or is it a ONLY preggers kinda thing because if so i needa go make sure its just my eczema and get it taken care of cause im bleeding from scratching in my sleep.
Well preg. test was neg. and thyriods are fine. So I got stuck again today...In both arms this time yay! She is testing estradiol, FSH, progesterone,and..prolactin, and testosterone, and she has givin me a med. to bring on my MC but said to call her if i still dont get it...so im thinking it might not work? Idk I am extremly confused.
Okay to I find out whats going on tomorrow I have to admit I am really nervous. I don't know what to think. And I haven't been sleeping well cause I keep having lots of crazy dreams all night and I'll wake up and have a panic attack and not go back to sleep about 6am every morning. So my nerves are getting right now. My boobs are killing me... I think Ima most be mad if I am not preggers because I am going through all this and I wont get a baby when its all over. Since the results came back, did they tell you over the phone those results (i.e., hormone levels, etc) or are they making you wait until your doctor's appointment next Tuesday?
okay results came back a little later then they thought with the holiday. So I have an appointment for Tuseday. Having a little pain as far as my muscles on my stomach go. And some pain on the left side. I know its not my ovary because i had a huge cyst on that side its def. my uterus, so not really sure what that is. Some of the symptoms are going away. I just got morning sickness again today after three days of none. I have been getting more headaches tho. I have also been really tired. BUT I keep having these burst of energy that last about 20 mins or so then i just pass out from being so tired. Its really weird.
Okay my OPK's are all neg now. I had every symptom you could posably think of. So as you can imagin I am/was/will be miserable. So I went to the doctor. She examined me, and did a urine test which came back neg. She said that there was deff. something going on. She sent me for blood work to check HCg and my thyroids. We have absolutly no history of probs with thyroids in my family. I am two monthes late now. symptoms are :
Weight loss, constipation, increased sex drive, peeing all the time, head aches, weird feeling in stomach, things smell weird, things taste different, morning sickness, lack of consintration, memory problems, dizziness, and other things i cant remember at the moment. I will get the results back next week and will post again.

Well I have a doc. appointment for the 21st. As of now I am not doing to well something is def. going on with my hormones. I have had leg cramps, headaches, constipation, nausea, gas, acid reflux, I just don't feel good in general anymore. I cant wait to get some answers and get to feeling better! Still no MC either. Preg. test still says no and opk is neg now too. Well see...
Lots of things. First- it will take time to regulate after coming off birth control. Also, whatever happened with your grandmother may not happen with you. It's rare to find out that late in the game that you're pregnant unless you're severely obese or have medical conditions. Also the medical field is highly advanced now.
It sounds like you could have a hormonal imbalance (thus all the positive OPKs- they measure LH surges). Also, the cysts on the ovaries may be indicative of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). You should have bloodwork done to test your hormones and make sure they're normal. Then another sonogram to see if you have cystic ovaries (many little cysts). This can affect ovulation, thus making it harder to conceive. BUT it is possible to conceive. I'm living proof. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I have PCOS.
