I wanna go natural for this pregnancy as well, but I'll be honest the tearing part is what scares me the most. I think that would be the only thing holding me back from going all natural.

Natural labor/delivery is absolutely not unbearable like everyone makes it out to be. If it's something that YOU want then you can do it. You just have to set your mind on it. Don't allow others to freak you out and make you change your mind. I closed my eyes, zoned out  and focused on breathing through my contractions. I was able to walk around and move around. Staying still during a contraction and just breathing helped to ease up the entensity of the pain of tge contraction. Yes the contractions are like menstral cramps times 2,000, as I say, but nothing you can't push through. Since my water hadn't broke yet, for me the most painful/uncomfortable feeling was the pressure from my son trying to come down the bc. My water broke while pushing. The delivery wasn't painful at all. I felt my sons head when it crowned and as it came through but it wasn't painful. I did tear but I didnt know until my doc told me. I did feel a slight burn for a second which may have been the tear. Only received 3 stitches. Didn't feel those being done either. Just a slight pinch from the needle when my doc numbed the area. Natural birth in my opinion is better because your body is naturally bringing on the contractions and not forcing them before the baby is ready causing us to tire easy and cause stress on the baby. Being a ftm also I was only in labor for about 9- 9 1/2 hrs and I was only pushing for about 10min. Its AMAZING to actually experience it 100% as well. Good luck and I hope you decide to truely give natural birth a try. If you need motivation feel free to write me :)
