So I'm 6 days overdue and feeling very anxious. I'm wondering when my midwife will schedule an induction date. Will I possibly have to wait until 42 weeks exactly ?  Any thoughts on this would be very helpful.  Thank you !

I'm getting induced today at 41 weeks, it all depends on how the baby is doing. My baby isn't moving as much as he usually does but his heartbeat is strong. I went in yesterday to my regular checkup and got sent to the hospital asap. They monitored his heart beat and movement and he did great. They called me once I got him after talking to my OB and they scheduled it.

With my first they scheduled my induction at 41 weeks and with my second (it was a different hospital) scheduled my induction at 42 weeks. I carried to my induction date both times. If you do go to 42 weeks they will monitor baby twice a week (at least that's how it was for me).
