High HR..am I having a girl?

I had an U/S today the baby was measuring right on target for the EDD Feb 22!  The HR was 153...does that mean I'm having a girl?? LOL I knwo the old wives tale says high HR means girl low means boy..but we are really hoping for a boy ( A girl would be loved just as much) I am just wondering if anyone had high HR for baby & had a boy??
I feel so much better seeing & knowing the HR, but now I can't wait for the 12 week goal..lol

No i doubt it I'm 29w 4d and having a boy and his heart beat is 153 and is has always been high lol I use to think the same thing tho

When I was that far along my daughters heart rate was in the 170s of course at that time I didn't know she was a she because I was so early lol

My sons was anywhere from 148 - 162. My stepmom is pregnant also with a girl and hers ranges from 155-183 so it just depends.

My boys had high heart rates, while the lil girl I'm currently pregnant with has a low heart rate.

Its usually not true from what I hear. My dad keeps saying mines a girl from the heartbeat but I strongly feel like its a boy. The heart rate usually goes back n forth least mine does I have a doppler and its usually ranging from 130-160. We will hopefully find out next week though! I would say not to go for any wives tales lol. Although I hear the Chinese gender predictor is right a lot of the times! It was right for my friend she felt it was a boy, I used the Chinese thing for her n it said girl. She also did the string test it said boy, but she's havin a little girl! (:

i heard that wives tale about the HR...but my sons HR was always high when i was pregnant with him. I guess it all depends
