Horror stories

Don't u just hate when ppl who are suppose to be ur friend fill ur mind with doubt and worry?? All week I have heard horror stories from the girls from work (who are nurses) girls we gotta remember that no pregnancy is the same and personally I feel listening to girls drag us down makes us feel waaay worse. I ended up booking a private scan cos I was so torn up by what ppl were telling me about my nausea symptoms stopping. If ur not sick ur whole pregnancy something is wrong?!?!? I was terrified. My baby is doing great!!! Trust ur insticts girls and call ur midwife if concerned lets not beat ourselves up cos our so call friends want to out do us on their pregnancy story. #rantover lol glad ppl here are supportive xxxxx

Instead of listening to them be blunt and stop them when they start with the horror stories.  Just tell them your not trying to be rude but all of the negativity gives you anxiety and you and your growing baby are doing just fine. Simply say you appreciate the advice but unless it can benefit you in a pisitive way you'd rather not hear it. And walk away. I did that with my 3rd pregnancy cuz the girls at work wouldn't leave me alone lol
And then you have the sister in law that has been pregnant 1 time and your on your 5th pregnancy and she swears she knows it all!! She went thru every symptom out there in the 37 weeks she was pregnant.

That's not nice even though it may be true.. no pregnancy is the same.. and symptoms stopping for one person can mean They lost the baby and for others it means nothing! I'm sure everything is fine with you and baby and I wouldn't worry. I lost two babies in my second trimester and I would have never expected it.. weird set of circumstances. Nurses love to play doctor sometimes lol
