Hospital bag & father staying overnight

Just curious to know when are you ladies planning on packing your hospital bag?  & what are you taking ? .. Also is it true some hospitals don't allow the father to stay overnight? I still got a couple of weeks to go but like to know things in advance :)

I packed mine at 34 weeks. u never know what may happen or when the baby decides to come always better to be ready. and most hospitals allow one overnight guest and most provide a sleeping area as well. BTW as to what to pack n bag all hygiene items and mainly clothes. with my first I forgot a lot but the hospital gave me anything I forgot like pads and shampoo and nipple cream and also diapers n wipes n formula for the baby even though u bring Ur own.

I know my hospital provides the towels & socks also so I won't be taking that either or diapers but maybe like 4 just incase & yeah I would definetly hide the bag from him lol I could see him doing that, if he wants something from the bag he's gonna have to buy it lol

Yeah I just wanted to get mine over with lol I dont need towels or snything like that either because luckily my hospital provides all of that, and these nice socks to keep me from being cold and possibly slipping & falling on if i need to stand. Just when you pack your bf's bag hide it because he may be like mine and try to dig in there for things lol caught mine doing it a few times.

Thanks girls,  ya actually mentioned things which are necessary that I didn't even have in mind, I wasn't even planning on packing stuff for hubby :o lol but now I am, plus there's a lot of  things I have to buy.. think I'll start packing on my 30th week just to have things ready just in case.. Now I have to figure out if my hospital allows him to Stay or not

I'll prolly pack near the very end. Im only 29 weeks right now will be 30 tomorrow.  So maybe around 35 weeks I'll pack the bag. But I do have the toiletries packed in a lil clear bag with travel shampoo and conditioner, and soap. Travel sized deoderant for me and hubby, travel toothbrushes for us both with travel toothpaste and a tube of chapstick. A ziplock bag of period pads and breastpads. And some warm slippers for me. With babies outfits. When I finish packing I'll have towels, clothes for hubby and I, a blanket and a pillow for hubby. And I'll tote along her diaper bag thats packed already with diapers, (I need to get wipes) blankets and other small essentials she needs.

I packed mine, my boyfriends and my baby boys at 29 weeks. I packed a toothbrush, trave size toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Deodorant, underwear, bras, clothes and the same for my bf. The babys diaper bag is packed with his little clothes and blankets i dont really need much else in it because the hospital gives me diapers, pacifiers nd etc.
And the hospital im giving birth at allows your bf to stay as long as you do.
