How can I stop being so stressed out?

I am almost 14 weeks pregnant, and I have lost 11 pounds in two months. I am really worried about my weight loss. I have not been doing very well for a while now. I have been so stressed out for about a year now, and I think the stress is causing a lot of my problems. I am trying to figure out how to calm down.

I'm really sorry about your being stressed.  And hormones do not help this!  They can make it even worse.  After the baby, you will want to tell your doctor about this because post partum can be a big deal and make your initial time with your new baby terrible verses the joy it is supposed to be.

Are you stressing about things in particular?  Or you just have nervous energy?  If they are things in particular, can any changes be made to reduce the stress?  Don't fret too much over weight loss.  While not ideal, your baby is probably getting what he/she needs. She is just taking it from you.  :>(((  Make sure to take a good vitamin daily and make every bite of food you take be healthy, nutritious and smart.  drink milk (or almond milk or whatever you drink).  A walk can life mood (any exercise can), keep a journal and look for triggers, see a therapist if you have access, practice breathing exercises, meditate if you can do it (I'm not great at that), try yoga.  All are soothing things.

Again, sorry it is a rough time. hugs

Oh, and by the way, most women have some degree of nervousness when pregnant--  worried about pregnancy, worried about what the heck to do with a new baby (I'd babysat but knew having my own newborn 24/7 would be a challenge), how to afford it, etc.  It's a major life change and being nervous and stressed is okay.  But if it stops you from functioning very well or experiencing joy about it too, then definitely, time to talk to someone about it (doctor). We're here to support you sweetie!
Thank you for trying to make me feel better. I have been having a really hard pregnancy. I am just so tired of feeling sick all the time. The only good thing I can say is that I went to a foot doctor yesterday and saw that I have gained a pound. I am going to try to get some good food in my system. I am trying my best to get plenty of rest. I drink water. I do take vitamins. I just hope things get better soon.

You know what I have to say to you and I mean this with my whole heart?  You are going to be one heck of an excellent mother.  You are already worried about taking care of your baby and doing the best you can!!  It's going to be okay.  Glad about the one pound gain and you will keep going.

I gained 60 pounds during pregnancy. LOL  I do NOT recommend that.  Some women (like me) gain too much weight.  But it is okay.  We are all doing the best we can.

Do you have nausea or anything?

Thank you for saying that. You are such a kind person. I hope that I am a good mother. I hope that I have gained more weight by the time I go to my next appointment. I do struggle with nausea.
Tell your doctor about the nausea. Maybe they can help.  Take your prenatal vitamin before bed too rather than during the day or morning.  Those can make you a little nauseated.  Yes, I'll cross my fingers you gain weight and I meant every word of your already being a good mother.  :>)))
I have a lot of things that I need to talk about the next time I see my doctor. Thank you for helping me out!
No problem.  And we are here to help too!!!
