How much is too much/.? is this normal?

Sorry TMI..........Mon I had a regular checkup 40wks 1 day, tues I had some bloody show and a couple chunks of pudding like bloody show (I guess leftover/old blood from the exam) Wed, even more brown mixed with red and  alot on and off for hours when I wiped..........Today, I had my membranes sweeped and had some right after but now its ALOT.........HUGE chunk went on the pad and overflowed it..........and everytime I wipe.........how long does this go on for......and is it normal to have chunks and chunks come out??? Sorry again for TMI

Also would like to know how long before you went into labor after sweeped membranes....was it a success?

It's also worth mentioning that you can be in labour and not have contractions till after your water breaks. I'd get checked out.

If you were having that much bleeding though, you should be seen regardless.

Mine did that when I was in labour. I was getting checked at the hospital to see how dilated I was before I was admitted and the nurses hand, the bed, the sheets, everything was covered in bright red blood and I FREAKED. Before that it had been just a brownish gunk.
