How to tell if leaking any amnio early preterm?

So this is my second baby I had a gush all water broke for my first baby 38 week 2 days but I’m 29 weeks only now and nervous about things more and wondering would I have contractions and or how to know if leak any since I already get pee wet or discharge as it is ? Will it be enough to notice on shorts ? Just want to be on look out since 40 min away from the labor center and still have 8 weeks till full term and so scared of it leaking early since I only had the major break of water for my first never had a leak before ,

I think during pregnancy, we have a ton of discharge and it can be watery.  Also, sad to say urine can dribble a little bit as the muscles after your first pregnancy are a tad weaker now there is pressure on your bladder, etc.  When do you next see your doctor?  Leaking amnio fluid would obviously be bad but this is also easy for them to check.

I don’t got any doctor till 19th n my nurse says if there is no gush or blood then I’m fine as I wrote into my doctor also I wasn’t wet at all today or other days much so I guess urine but had a spot of it on the bed when slept nights ago I noticed unsure what from I ordered 4 swabs to swab myself for amnio fluid leak but says can’t touch the outside of the down there and I can’tsee down there with big belly so nervous will I be fine if test myself ?
I can see why you were concerned with a wet spot left on the bed.  I'm surprised they wouldn't let you come in just to take a sample to make sure it's not fluid.  It likely is not but I don't think there is much you can do until you are seen. No other symptoms and being dry now is a good sign though!  The thing you can do from now on that might help is the 'sniff' test.  If it smells like ammonia at all, it's urine.  If it has no odor at all, that is more concerning.  So, try that to self monitor until you are seen.
