I am unsure I am pregnant, even though a lot of people think I might be.

Okay so I haven't had sex since Sept 3, 2010, when my bf left to go to a different country for a little while. My period that month started around the 15th or more and was a little longer than normal but i didn't think anything of it. The next month it started early, like the 5th. I just ignored it. I thought it was just stress. Progressively, I have been gaining weight and just feeling horrible. I still keep ignoring it thinking maybe it's depression. However, many people have asked me if I'm pregnant. I mean how could I be six months along and not no it. I have a normal period but I have weird stuff going on. Eating a lot, its like I always stay hunger, I go to the restroom more often. When I lay down to go to sleep I feel nauseated, bloating, cramping, just uncomfortable. Oh, and my stomach itches like crazy I don't know if that has anything to do with this. I don't have a rash or anything it just itches. I have been having pains as well, in my stomach and back and discharge stuff more than normal...this has been going on all these months but I don't feel kicking like most people say babies do. It's not like I'm stressing about it or worrying. I just thought I'd ask. Could I be pregnant or is it something different altogether?

From your profile picture you look thin - if you were pregnant and that thin you'd feel movement by now. It sounds like something could be going on and a sonogram may need to be ordered for you. If your mom doesn't have insurance for you then she should apply for Medicaid insurance for you to take care of this. If she doesn't qualify then there are plenty of places you may be able to go to without insurance; you just have to look around.

You don't have to tell her you suspect pregnancy. Just tell her all your symptoms and pains and tell her you think you need to see a doctor and are worried that it could be something serious. If she won't listen or take you find a reliable adult that will listen (school counselor, a teacher, etc.). You may have to end up just going to a doctor without insurance.

Planned Parenthood can give her a pregnancy test and a pap smear. If she's pregnant and 6 months along due to increased blood flow her cervix would be blue. Blue cervixs only happen in pregnancy.

You do not get a "period". You can bleed but it isn't a period at all. Sometimes it can mimic a period but it isn't one because you don't ovulate.

women can actuall still get their "period" while their pregnant my best friend 2 of her 3 pregnancies she has had them like clock work including her pregnancy shes having right now and shes 18 weeks and she took a test dec.13th and it came up negative and well it was wrong  for her it has happened both times when she was having a girl her only pregnancy that has been textbook was with her son and my aunt who now has 2 chuldren a 10yr old girl and 8yr old boy has never had a period in her life until she was pregnant and as soon as she got pregnant she bled the entire time which was the only thing that made her go to the doctor because she hadnt had a period in 38yrs and was told she couldnt have children so not everyones pregnancy will be text book so it doesnt hurt to get everything checked out because if shes not pregnant it could also be something else wrong that still needs to be checked out and planned parenthood cant help if shes not pregnant

It is highly doubtful you are pregnant. By 6 months you'd be showing positive on a test. The show "I didn't know I was pregnant" is about people who usually never tested. You don't get a period during pregnancy because you don't ovulate. However you can bleed. Only thing to really do is see a doctor. I'm not sure how it works where you are but if you go to the hospital they usually will help set you up for state aid if you can't pay them and you qualify. Also Planned Parenthood might be able to help you.

well and thats just it if your like doubled over in pain and what not (even if you play it up a little) Im sure your mother would take you into the hospital or something because if your not it could be something else and weather your pregnant or its something else if you have been in pain this long its your bodys way of saying somethings up and it wants you to listen

The problem is she doesn't have insurance so unless I tell her I might be pregnant...or I'm dying. She'll tell my to take cough meds and that's it, but I'll think of something. Even as I'm writing right now I'm having pain in my stomach so if I'm not pregnant it could be something else that's bad.

yea there is always a chance that you could be just like the show "I didnt know I was pregnant" and when my mom was pregnant with me she had her period pretty well the entire time and all herr tests came up Neg. the only reason she went to the dr was because the smell of cooking pork made her throw up just like when she was pregnant with my brother and its not like you need to tell her you think your pregnant you can just tell her you havnt been feeling well and have been having stomach pains and what not it will all be ok, keep us posted

I think you should just take a test to put your mind at ease. Im not pregnat but I have every symtom you have except ichy stomach. Hormones and stress can play a big roll. Does your stomach feel hard?? By now you would be able to feel the ridge of your uterus above your belly button. Best of luck but unless you take a test you wont know.
