I have never understood how people can be in such a hurry to "evict" their baby. I have had two pregnancies. The last one I went into premature labor several times. He was born at 37 wks via emergency c-section. I did everything I could to keep him in as long as possible. He still had breathing issues, severe jaundice and eating problems. Due to complications I can not have another pregnancy. Be thankful for what you have and enjoy these last few wks of feeling your baby.
Thanks everyone I am 37weeks 3 days pregnant today and I am just doing everything naturally to have her I go in the 27th to have my c-section can't wait only a little over two weeks left can't wait. Thank you for all your replies but I think this baby just like my last two need to be evicted..lol Keep you posted after I have my next little princess
Awe your babys due date is my first DD's Birthday! I hope your little bit comes soon so mamma can cuddles baby. :)
At 36 weeks you are NOT in the home stretch. ATLEAST 37 weeks is considered full term, however it's best to wait until atleast 40 weeks before trying to "evict" your baby. To try and induce labor any sooner (without the presence of complications) would put your baby at a much higher risk for respiratory and other problems during and after birth. This increases the risks for the necessity of a stay in the NICU. As uncomfortable as the end of pregnancy is, it is far better for your baby to stay put until SHE is ready to come out. This is why doctors don't like to induce until your due date or later.
As blueeyedtabbycat said, making something perfect takes time. Give your little girl time to finish perfecting herself before making her grand debut.
I agree with blueeyedtabbycat, 36 weeks is still really early. I know many do fine at this point but not all. My sisters came only a week early and still have trouble breathing and was on a respirator for a few days. Let the baby come when it is ready, that is the best thing to do. I am 36+4 days so know it is uncomfortable but you are almost done.
When I was pregnant, I didn't find anything worked until he was good and ready to come out. I tried a lot of walking, lots of sex. I ended up having to be induced twice at 40+ weeks. He was 9 days late. So babies won't come out until they're ready
squatting helps...walking walking walking :)
36 weeks is too early for your baby to come. Even at 38 weeks some babies have problems breathing on their own. Making something so perfect takes time:) She will be here before you know it!!! Good luck:)
All of the things you are currently doing are good and all but honestly she will come when she is ready. I know it must be difficult and uncomfortable but like you said you are in the home stretch and you only have a few weeks left. I think patience is key & your baby will come when she is ready.
Haha..I just posted a similar question yesterday...here's the link:

Seems nothing is guaranteed..but I am thinking walking is the best bet myself.
